As a less expensive, alternative, or starter option
for boarding kennels (& later, catteries) - we developed
a website to list boarding kennels, to give owners the chance dip their paws in
the water & try a webpage inexpensively - or link their own website to it.
The idea is to encourage increased business for
boarding kennel & cattery owners who are proud & confident enough of their
welfare standards to show their prospective customes upfront.
As far as customers are concerned, almost every kennel or cattery you come
across lists themselves as 'luxury' & the web is the ideal way to prove this
to customers, especially by putting customer comments & referrals online.

Website domain (website names) registering & hosting company - one of the
biggest & best (I've done the research!) & very highly recommended by
us!
It is a VERY good idea to purchase your domain name
NOW to ensure you have the rights, whether you will set up a website in the future
or not!).
For example, we bought the kenneldesign.com name long before we had a website.
We also bought catterydesign.com at the same time - but haven't used it yet. (But
we know it belongs to us!)
There are companies who try to make (a lot of) money out of buying names, in
the hope that someone will pay a lot more for them once they've realised it's
gone.
Wherever possible, try & choose a name that does not
already exist - it costs nothing to tap in
as many names as you need to, to find one that isn't taken.
Hopefully though, you have an unusual kennel name already, that is just waiting
to be claimed as a webname! |
