Well our first summer is over and we
have been a huge success -
all the local vets have been recommending us and word
of mouth has gone like wild fire!
I was actually relieved when Sept. got
here and we slowed down so that I could catch my breath!
When you
build quality, and operate with caring responsible ethics - people
will come.
We are also using the Pet
Admin software and it’s
a time saver and a god send!
I have not forgotten my promise to help you
with Canadian costs of building and I should have a better handle on
that number in the next month as I am doing my first year end -
abbreviated for tax purposes. At this point I would say Canadian $200.
per square foot is not out of line and that does not really include the
equipment just the building itself....
I am writing to ask you for some more information
if you have it - we have purchased the Boarding Cattery Manual from your
site before you published the new book. Although
it is informative it is not actually what we are looking for design
wise. Our cattery is a room in our building and we
are looking for designs - this is almost the final element of
the Ranch and we are anxious to get it completed ASAP as the demand
for cat boarding has actually surprised us!
Any idea where I can get some cattery plans? Bruce is
very handy and we would like to build them ourselves... money savings as
well... Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated...

I actually had someone call me about David's designs
as well cannot remember the name - but they wanted to know what I thought
- of course I told them we are thrilled!
I wrote back to Cindy telling her she could buy the Cattery
Design book from Amazon Canada - explained why she should
NOT include cat condos, and that we are currently
working on cattery plans for her.
