How to choose your blueprints
Your choice is best based on your situation:-
- Do you know how many kennels you want? Is this reasonable? What are you
basing the numbers on?
- Do you already have planning/zoning permission?
- Have you had feedback that planning/ zoning will not be a problem?
- Are you ready to start building?
The following should assist you with your decision:
Know your choices on designs, materials & finishes
We strongly recommend you own a copy of this book
(especially if you are purchasing blueprints and/or the Building Specification).
It will take you through all the options you have at every stage of
kennel
development
or upgrading.

Builder quotations and builder guides
Ideal for when you are ready to start getting quotations
for labour & materials and start building.
It tells you how
to build using our kennel specifications (most importantly, helping
your builder
avoid
common & expensive kennel-building mistakes due to lack of kennel-facility
experience),
and
how
to
price
up the
cost
of
your kennels accurately.
It will help you save a great deal of money, and research
time on materials/ products/ comparing quotations. Priceless reassurance & support
for your project.
Building Specification
Full colour visual & motivation aids
Planning/ zoning find these useful to visualise what you have in mind. Remember,
their knowledge of kennels will be limited to poorer standard kennels that
result in lots of noise!
(Blueprints/Plans - refer to the same thing, it just depends which word
you prefer to use!)
Architecturally/builder specific plans
Are you ready to apply for permission, or
start building?
Choose the full set of blueprints if any of these
apply:

You have DECIDED how many kennels you need

You want to APPLY for planning/zoning permission

You have already had GOOD FEEDBACK from your
local authority about your proposal and they have indicated permission
may likely be granted.
(For example, you
may have already printed off our pages & discussed your plans
with them)

You have permission & want to START BUILDING

You want to SAVE MONEY & shipping costs by
buying all the plans at once
Do you anticipate difficulty getting
Planning/ Zoning Permission?
Choose the single page plans if any of these apply:

You have DECIDED how many kennels you need.

You want to APPLY for planning/ zoning
permission but are concerned your application will be turned
down.

Planning/ zoning won't give you feedback without
a TO-SCALE set of plans. (For example, you have already tried
asking them to give a preliminary opinion by printing off
our pages.)
